South West Fire supplies goods and services relating to the provision of fire appliances and ancillary equipment.

The company specialises in:

• Design of appliances according to specific client requirements
• Construction of appliances
• Commissioning
• Providing maintenance and repair services

South West Fire designed the new “Heavy Duty” fire fighting appliance for CALM which has now become standard for all of their trucks over the last 10 years. The company is also responsible for the redesign work for all of the other CALM equipment including the current “Gang Truck” design, all of the slip on fire units and other equipment such as the trailer mounted units and flame-throwers.

South West Fire provides similar services to FESA and has been instrumental in the current design of the Urban Tanker appliances and the General Purpose Appliance.

Forestry and mining companies have also used the services of South West Fire to design and provide there fire equipment needs either “off the shelf products” or custom built equipment.
