Slip on fire appliances come in all shapes and sizes and can provide a covenient alternative when a dedicated vehicle is not applicable. Slip ons generally are widely used on 4WD utilities either traybacks or style sides generally these units will not exceed 600 litres in capacity. The use of greater carrying capacity and performance can also be provided in Slip ons.
These larger appliances require a greater consideration in loading and unloading due to increased weights involved.
