The Urban Tanker appliances have been introduced in the last 3 years in Western Australia to meet the needs of small to medium sized communities in the rural regions. They feature auxillary or a Power Take Off driven pump with the capacity to deliver high pressure water or water and foam from either the onboard tank or auxillary hydrant supply. The trucks are generally 4WD and have pump and roll capacity.
